The history takes us back in 1996 when a transformation of School from Adventists ownership to Government ownership took place, being a first Secondary School in Kongwa District Council, Dodoma, Tanzania with a registration number S0412. A school's core purpose, aspirations guidelines and principles are articulated by the following statements;

A school is compounded by pitch grounds and a farm of approximately 35 hectors. The presence of adequate land, teachers and student as a workforce, a school offers hands-on learning experiences that connect students to food systems, promote healthy eating, and develop valuable skills such as garden vegetables growing, cereal production like maize and millet as well as cash crops like sunflowers. On behalf of the staffs and student, I am delighted to declare achievement in a little bit that for a year 2025, 13 sucks of maize, 7 sucks of millet and 54 sucks of sunflowers harvested. Praise be to God, Amen.

A school encourages and maintains school-community partnership to enhance school effectiveness and students’ academic performance. A school is responsible of planning, teaching, and discipline students under a conducive environment and paramount, strong as well as good relationship from the society around us. Consequently, society has a responsibility to create conducive school environment for the betterment of our Generation in academic and positive attitude as well.

Zoissa Secondary School is a Core Educational Secondary school admitting both sex boys and girls. It is well occupied by esteemed, passionate and teamworking staffs. A school implements the Tanzanian curriculum for teaching and learning with National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) Registration Centre Number S0636. It centres three villages, catering students from Mnuku village, Mkoka village as well as Mvungurumo. It comprises of 1082 students in which 497 are boys and 585 are girls for the academic year 2025,20 teachers, 26 classrooms, One Dormitory for Boys students residing far from a school specifically.
